bagchain is based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and provides mobile baggage check-in and print kiosks for airlines. Their mobile self-service kiosks allow passengers to check in baggage and print tags in just 5 seconds by scanning a printed or mobile boarding pass. The kiosks are fully mobile and can also be deployed in hotels, stations, parking lots, or car rental locations.

The Fitlet2 is the mini-PC that makes this possible. It provides robust, reliable computing, along with international communication facilities. The possibility of customization ensures efficient use of data bandwidth and low operating costs. Examples of individualisation are special push-button designs or optimized Windows IoT configurations. The result is a highly flexible and innovative baggage management solution.

The kiosks connect securely to the Cloud and airline or airport Departure Control Systems. The Fitlet2 has multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports and optional Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE. It keeps kiosks online anywhere without relying on old networks. This flexibility enables seasonal deployments and backup solutions when traditional systems fail.

The Fitlet2 is small, just 112 Ɨ 84 Ɨ 34 mm, yet incredibly powerful. Its compact footprint allowed bagchain to design kiosks that occupy less than 0.25 square meters, making them deployable in virtually any location. Rugged construction compliant with MIL-STD-810G ensures the kiosks withstand the physical demands of busy terminals and mobile setups.

Equipped with an Intel Atom processor, the Fitlet2 delivers enough computing power to process baggage check-ins quickly. Passengers spend less time waiting, while airlines can maintain smooth operations and reduce the operational impact of delays.

From baggage printers and barcode scanners to touchscreen interfaces, the Fitlet2 supports all necessary peripherals via multiple USB, SATA, and serial ports. Optional modules and storage upgrades provide further customization, future-proofing bagchain kiosks for evolving travel technology needs.
