Compulab is introducing a new range of fanless mini PC computers, which are production ready right now. In fact we will have a complete Tensor family of highly configurable PC's. They are unique in the way they can be customised to your requirements using Tensor Elements (TEL's) and Tensor Ribbon Ports (TRIP's). A TEL is is a bit like CompuLab FACE-modules, but a very different concept. TEL's will be connected to the Tensor Motherboard using TRIP Ribbons. Besides being much more flexible in configuration, it's easy to understand this architecture will have large benefits like reducing RMA's, reducing downtime with quick TEL replacements and removing complexity from the motherboard to the easily upgradable TEL's. Modules will be open-source-hardware, to allow 3rd party developers to contribute with custom TEL's. The 1st Tensor model will have the Intel CM246 chipset on board, and will support Intel 9th generation Core / Xeon with up to 6 cores, 64 GB RAM and 37 PCIe 3.0 lanes.
The Compulab Tensor PC is a very welcomed new member of the growing miniDis range of products. It is the first of a new kind of uniquely and flexible configurable PC's. Due to Tensor PC’s modular concept you are advised to consult miniDis representatives to obtain your customer specific configuration and pricingfor your newest projects.
